$2 money maker at CVS

Money maker on CVS vaseline. Read about it here!

Someone left a comment on her site that they used the right upc and didn't get the ecb. Either they messed up or it depends on your store. It is still free when you use the coupon even if you don't get the ecb! Let's hope it works for you!

Today at Walmart

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This is all of the stuff I got for free at Wal-mart today. I wasn't able to check for the Windex wipes because ds was having a meltdown and it completely left me when I was at the checkouts (they are supposed to be at the checkouts for $1).

I realized that in All You magazine August issue can you get another John Freida Frizz ease (the little bottles in the pic) and another package of Kotex. I could have also got carefree pantyliners from this past Sundays newspaper, but I didn't have time to look because of ds.

I checked out the Huggies and on my coupons it said for 64ct or larger and the travel size was 16 or something like that.

Deals this week

Okay so we have been very busy this week and I haven't had a chance to do my deals yet. I am going to list what I see and have found, but I have a feeling there is a bunch more. Most of what I read about came from a full cup and hot coupon world.

Giant Eagle

In the ad that starts tomorrow (6/26) It has BOGO Right Guard Sport or Soft & Dri, save up to 2.48. So they'll be about 1.24 each. If you use the 75 cent off coupons that expire 7/31, they should be free.

Someone posted that Bic Soleil razors at their Giant Eagle are clearanced at 3.49. Last week there was a $4/1 coupon. If you didn't get two of these or don't plan on using them on the CVS deal this week, it might be worth checking out at your Giant Eagle.

If you didn't get the Vlasic Relish last week or don't have a Quality, Giant Eagle has Vlasic Relish $10/10. The coupon link is lower down in my blog.

Rite Aid

Giovanni Shampoo or Conditioner 8.5 oz limit 1 6/29-7/11
$6.99 - $6.99 SCR = free

Oxy Face Wash 6 oz or Shave Cream 5.2 oz limit 1 6/29-7/5
$5.99-$5.99 SCR = free

Chex Mix .99 if your RA takes IP's there are many $1/1 coupons that would make this free. My RA does not so I am out of luck.

Wal-mart.

I'm not sure if these prices are the same at our Wal-mart that they are where these were reported, but I will get back to you in the next couple of days.

Shick 10 pack razors $1.99. There were $2/1 coupons in a Sunday paper (not sure which) making these free.

There were $1/1 Kotex coupons and the pantyliners have been said they were $1.

Travel size Huggies wipes $1 and $1/1 coupons from all over.

Some Walmarts have clearanced Windex wipes by the register for $1 with the $1/1 coupon from the paper these are free.

CVS

Crest toothpaste is .99 after ECB and there is a $1/1 from a Sunday newspaper out there.

Physicians Formula Mascare $7.99, get 7.99 ECB. There is a $1/1 coupon so you could also make money. I didn't have this coupon. Right now our CVS is out of these so you can get a rain check for them.

The CVS Cocoa butter is on clearance this week for $1.50 and if you use the $2/1 on CVS skincare you either get this for free or make money depending on your cashier. The link for the CVS coupons are down in my blog. Leave a comment if you can't find them. You can also get the hand soap for $1.99.

The LifeSavers are B1G1 this week and if you use the B1G1 coupon in the paper you get two packs for free.

Accu-check Diabetes Monitoring Kit $9.99, get 9.99 ECB.

Elixer of Eden

*Edited 7/7/08 I received an email from them today stating that they have received too many requests for free samples so they can't send anymore out. They asked me to participate in a survey to get something free on a new offer, but I passed.

Free Senseo!

All you have to pay for is shipping ($15). It seems to be total luck of the draw. You fill out a questionnaire that took me maybe a minute and they will tell you if you qualify. If you qualify you will receive a free Senseo machine, free coffee pods, a canister, and $20 off coupons to share with people. I got this from a full cup and many people qualified and have received their machine already. I qualified and paid the $15! I can't wait to get my machine. LINK HERE

schick disposable razors

You can get free schick razors. I haven't done it yet, but click here to read about it.

Free relish and mouthwash.

Kelly that picture is just for you!

So today I got 20 free jars of Vlasic Relish. It is $10/10 at Quality and I had 20 $1/1 jar. Click here for the coupon and scroll to the bottom.

One of Rite Aid's single check rebates is the 8.4 oz Crest Pro Health Night mouthwash. The rebate is 2.99 and this week it costs 2.99 so you can get this for free. I bought this today. I forgot to pick it up yesterday.

At CVS today I actually got to buy more Brut deodorant since it was finally in and I actually found some Huggies coupons when searching for my rain check over the weekend and a friend gave me some of hers so I got to get some Huggies bodywash! Since I had a couple .75/1 coupons on the Brut deodorant I actually ended up making .60 on each deodorant so that paid for my Huggies body wash since I owed .50 after my Huggies coupons and the extra care bucks you get back! I also bought more CVS hand wash for free with the CVS coupon and they had my Oral B Crossaction powered toothbrushes from the deal last week so I got those for free because I had rain checks from the deal last week.

Proof I'm still a newbie

I missed a coupon in the paper today and could have gotten three free packs of American cheese. Make sure to check your Parade insert. I have never seen a coupon in them and so I didn't look this week. bummer.

I also found a bunch more freebies looking at the inserts this afternoon. I'm going to try to get them tomorrow and I will post them all for you.

My deals today! 6/22/08

Okay so I am going to brag about my deals I got today. I am just going to tell you everything I got and then I will tell you which things were free. I decided the best way for me to do some of my shopping is to go to Taylortown preview, hot coupon world, i heart cvs, hot deals, coupons.com, boodle.com, coolsavings.com, and a full cup on Saturday nights. I make a list of all the stores that I want to go to. then I start scouring these sites, looking at the flyers for the next day and reading about what deals are out there. I right down what I want to get at what store and what coupons I have. Then I got up and did this first thing this morning. It was so much faster and CVS had a few more things then they normally would. Which btw if you are addicted to CVS and live in my town go to our CVS Sunday mornings and then hit up the Boro's CVS Monday because that is when their shipments come in. And their CVS is AWESOME!! So anyways, I got my stuff so much quicker this morning. This morning I did CVS, Rite Aid, and Giant Eagle. When I get a little faster I am going to add Dollar General and Big Lots.

So here are my deals from this morning:

Going on at CVS right now their soyjoy bars (located with the diet bars) are $4/4 and then you get 4ecb back. So they are free. limit of 5 or 20 bars. A few weeks back there were buy 2 get 1 free in the paper, so if you have that you can make some money. Also if you were one of the few lucky ones to sign up for their mailing list before they shut the coupons off, you should have a buy 4 save $1, also making you some money. I wasn't fortunate enough to have either of these.

Buy 1 colgate total advanced toothpaste @ $2.49 and get 2ecb. I'm not sure what the limit is. I'll get back to you. I had 4 $1.50/1 total advance toothpaste coupons. I got two from signing up con Colgate's website, one from All You magazine, and one from a Sunday paper. So if you have this coupon you can make $1 on every toothpaste you buy.

All laundry detergent is b1g1 and there was $1 off coupon in this Sunday's paper on the 3X concentrated.

I had the $2 CVS skincare that I have a link for if you look down in my blog. Now my hand soap was 1.49 and she wouldn't give me the overage She adjusted the coupon. Still this is free.

CVS:
20 soyjoy bars @ $1 = $20
2 All Small and Might laundry detergent 32 oz @ 6.49 b1g1 = 6.49
4 Colgate Total Advance toothpaste @ 2.49 = 9.96
1 CVS hand soap @ 1.49
_____
My total was 37.97
So then I had 4 colgate @ $1.50/1 coupons = -6
CVS skincare coupon -1.49
Then I had ecb @ -27.96

My total I owed in cash was $1.49 and I got 28 extra care bucks back! The lady behind me was in awe.

Rite Aid:

This week the Lysol Neutra Air Freshmatics are 50% off. Most places these are $9.99 or $10.99 regularly priced, but our Rite Aid is giving me even more reason to love them (can you sense my sarcasm) and they are $11.99.

So 50% makes them 5.99 and I had 2 $5/1 coupons from the paper a couple of weeks ago. So I got 2 of these for $1.98. If you are lucky enough to have a good Rite Aid, yours will be free.

Giant Eagle:

Okay I could have done this deal a few days ago since their flyers come out in the middle of the week, but I didn't look at the ad until last night.

This week their blueberries are b1g1 so $3.78/2 for a pint so I did that.

Bob loves Reeses pb cups and they are $10/10 for an 8pk so I took advantage of that.

Oscar Meyer are b1g1 so 3.38/2 and I had four $1/2 coupons from the paper a few weeks back. This makes them $1.19/pack. I know they had $10/10 just going on, but I like Oscar Meyer better than that brand. I am showing a little bit of brand preference. I know Bob says he'll only eat a Smiths, but at $4/pack for them he is going to learn to love Oscar Meyer! lmbo.

The 14oz of Frenches mustard is $10/10. I bought the Erie and Pittsburgh paper. One of them had .50/1 Frenches so when it is doubled it is free. The other had $1/2. I only used the free coupons because I already have a ton of mustard. I'm sorry I don't remember which paper had which coupon.

Bob and I love Quaker Granola bars. This might not be a deal to some, but it is to us since we like it. They are $2/4 and I had 2 $1/2 coupons from the papers today.

Dial soap is $2/2.50 and I bought one because I had a .30/1 coupon.

Farmland bacon was $2.79 and I had a $2/1 coupon

Certain Lysol cleaning brands are $2/4. Some are $2/5, but I only did the $2/4 deal. I had several coupons for Lysol products. Some came from papers and some came from signing up on Lysol's website, and some from the coupon sites I listed above in the post. I did not do coupons where you had to buy two to save. I only did coupons that could double, or save $1/1.

So here is what I got: (I'm breaking this up a little differently)

2 packages of blueberries = 3.78
2 packages of reeses = 2
8 packages of hot dogs = 13.52 - $4 coupons = 9.52
1 Frenches mustard = 1 - $1 coupon = 0
4 Quaker granola bars = 8-2 coupon =6
1 Dial hand soap = 1.25 -.30/1 doubled to .60= .65
1 Farmland bacon = 2.79-$2 coupon = .79

Now my Lysol order:
3 packages of Lysol wipes
4 bottles of 4in1 kitchen anitbacterial spray
3 Lysol toilet bowl cleaners.
--->My Lysol total without my coupons was $20
Then I had
.50/1 doubled to $1
.50/1 doubled to $1
.50/1 doubled to $1
.55/1 doubled to $1.10
.75/1 doubled to $1.50
.75/1 doubled to $1.50
.75/1 doubled to $1.50
.55/1 doubled to $1.10
.50/1 doubled to $1
.55/1 doubled to $1.10

So 20-11.80 in coupons = 8.20 for all of that Lysol. I like Lysol so I think that is a good deal. Can someone find something better?

My grand total was $31.84.
My receipt says my total savings is $46.47 for this transaction!

Dollar General

So I'm thinking there could be some good deals at Dollar General, but I am not sure. I am going to scope it out tomorrow. I haven't really paid much attention to this store. Will let you know.

Live Active Cereal

So I was totally bummed tonight. I had a $3/1 coupon for the new Live Active cereal. I saw it at the store tonight and it was $2.99. Ack my coupon expired like two days ago. I don't really need more cereal, it just irritated me. It was $2.99 at Target, so I would have to think it would be that price or cheaper at Wal-Mart too. If you want to give this new cereal a try click here and then click get coupon in the lower right corner.

Vanessa's freebies by mail...

So tonight I got my Juicy Juice sippy in the mail and I was just making sure you have gone to Vanessa's website and signed up for the freebies by mail she mentioned a few weeks ago. Click here.

Still need coupons? Old deals..

If you are still trying to get that General Mills cereal deal at CVS, there were cheerios coupons in the 6/15/08 paper.

Also if you didn't use or $1/1 Colgate coupon at Walmart, you can use it at CVS this week and make .01. This is Colgate cavitay 4.6 oz.

My other blog

Since this is a freebie blog I will only post freebies. However if I find a really good deal that is close to free or really cheap I will post it on my other blog. So make sure to check that out once in awhile.

Nexcare bandages and Herbal Essance - Rite Aid

I got this from hotcouponworld. Children's 20-25ct nexcare bandages are .99 in this weeks flyer. There were $1/1 coupons in the 4/6/08 and 5/4/08 newspaper.

~*~*~

Herbal Essence shampoo or conditioner is 2.99.
SCR 2.99 limit 1 valid 6/15/08-6/21/08 makes this free.
There was a $2/1 coupon in the 6/8/08 paper or you can get coupons if you sign up on their website. That makes this deal a money maker or if you want both the shampoo and conditioner, than you get the two for .99.

Edited: Maybe I am thinking about the $2/1 or is it $2/2 Target coupon of the Herbal Essence out right now because I cannot find the other coupon I swore I had. So someone please tell me I am not nuts and that you have this coupon.

Oral B Cross Action/Huggies - CVS

I owe thanks to Lynsey for this deal. She was on top of this deal in the Sunday paper.

There is a coupon in the Sunday paper if you buy one Cross Action toothbrush you get another one free. Well in the CVS flyer this week if you buy a Cross Action tooth brush you get 3ecb's back per toothbrush. So the toothbrushes cost 5.99 each. You get one for free so you pay 5.99 for one and get 6ECB's back. You make a penny! lmbo The limit is five toothbrushes. www.hotcouponworld.com said that the replacement heads for the toothbrushes give you the ecb's back. In case you don't want/need all of those toothbrushes.

~*~*~

You can get free Huggies body wash/lotion if you have some coupons. I don't have the coupons, so I haven't done it. I might try to get some coupons. The deal is on hotcouponworld. Click here to read about it.

Honey nut cheerios at CVS!

Buy $20 of General Mills Cereal or Folgers Coffee get $10 ECB (limit 1)

The General Mills cereal is 3/$10.

I bought 5 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios, 1 box of Honey Nut Cheerios cereal bars, and two Reeses Fast Break bars. The Reeses bars were fillers because my ECB that I paid with were more than my total. Remember me mentioning that when I explained ECB in The Low Down on the stores? The best part about that is that the candy is by $10 in candy and get 5 ECB right now and I think I have some coupons for candy for later!

So my total was $21
I had $4/$20 coupon
I had 2 $1/2 General Mills coupons I got in my Sunday paper
I had three Honey Nut Cheerio coupons. Two were .60/1 and the other was .65/1.
That left my total at $13.15. I paid with 12.95 in ECB and my total was .20 and I got 10 in ECB back!

Now let me mention a few things. I would have gotten this completely free had my CVS had another box of Honey Nut Cheerios or if I would have asked for a rain check. Since I have a 14 month old that is very impatient at stores anymore, I just bought the box of cereal bars. Still isn't bad paying 12.95 in ECB and getting 10 ECB back! Oh and I could have made my total exactly 0 (think Powerade for .25 with coupon), but I thought I might as well buy something that could get me ECB!

If you want to do this deal I suggest signing up here for $1/1 coupon. Now I only had Honey Nut Cheerios coupons and I was lucky because that was all that was left, but it is for all General Mill cereals. So you could probably google each brand and go to General Mills website, sign up and get free coupons. My General Mills coupons came from the Sunday paper. I do believe my Honey Nut Cheerios coupons came from www.coupons.com, www.boodle.com, and coolsavings. These links will make you install a coupon printer on your computer that only allow you to print off two maybe three coupons. A lot of times the last three links will have the same coupons and sometimes if you check all three of those link you can print from each site. I don't know why, but sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

So onto the freebies!

So I have been trying to decide how to start this. I decided I am not going to list the freebies that I have gotten in the past that are no longer available. That would just be depressing. :) Plus I have made many purchases of freebies and money makers and I don't think I can remember each order, so for right now I will just list the freebies. After tonight I will show you how I purchased them.

-----

At CVS available from now until the end of June:

Brut deodorant. It is anywhere from 3.19-4 something. Don't buy it over 4, buy the 3.19 or 3.35. There were coupons for 55cents off in the 6/8/2008 newspaper and $1 off in this months All You magazine. limit 5

40ct CVS sheer or plastic bandaids. $1.99 get $1.99 ECB back. limit 3

Oral B 2 pack manual toothbrushes $6.99 get 6.99. limit 4

Hot coupon world gives you sneak peeks of the flyers to come and I am thinking I am going to be getting some free dove products with my coupons from 6/8/2008 newspaper and ecb offer. Will keep you posted.

~*~*~

Sign up on Honey bunches of Oats website for their mailing list and get a $2/1 box of Honey bunches of Oats Chocolate clusters. They are $1.98 at Walmart, so you will make 2 cents!

~*~*~

6/8/2008's newspaper had 75 cents off of Powerade or Powerade zero. This week they are 10/$10 at Quality Markets. You don't have to buy ten when stores have this deal btw. The price is $1/1. Quality doubles their mfr coupons. Since my drink was only $1 and the coupons was .75/1 they wouldn't give me the $1.50 off my bill (some places would), but they matched the mfr up to .25. So my drink was free!

In the 6/1/2008 P&G Sunday paper insert, they had $1/1 OralB floss and $1/1 any Colgate toothpaste 4 oz or larger. You can also get another $1/1 Colgate and more colgate coupons if you sign up on their website. Walmart has Colgate toothpaste and OralB floss right now for 98 cents, so these items are free. I will have more free toothpaste offers coming up in a couple of weeks too. So if you do print this offer off of the net, don't toss the $1.50/1 Total Advance whitening Colgate coupons you print off.

I'm not sure if Giant Eagle's Ivory soap was on sale last week or if it is always .99, but it was .99 and 6/1/08 Sunday paper had .50 and Giant Eagle doubles so I made a penny. If you are at Giant Eagle you might want to check it out.

The Low down on the stores

The list of stores I am going to give information about are stores that I shop at that I know about. If I hear of deals of freebies from stores not around me I will post those as well. Just remember that I wont have necessarily tried it to see if it really works or not. It will just be what I heard word of mouth.

Also remember that if you don't live in my town, your stores policies may vary so you should check your store to see if they are the same or different. For instance, the Rite Aid in my town does not accept internet printed manufacturers coupons. I know other people who have had no problem using these at their Rite Aid.

Any store that has a card that you can sign up for is a must have. This is usually what gives you the great deals with the stores.

CVS
ECB= Extra Care Bucks

The way free things are obtained in this store are through your extra care bucks. There are certain things you purchase in CVS that give you extra care bucks. Basically extra care bucks are a gift card to the store. They are printed at the end of your receipt and can only be used with the CVS care card you made your purchase with. You can learn what purchases earn you extra care bucks in the weekly CVS flyer that is in the Sunday paper. If you are from my town, I have yet to get the CVS flyer in our Sunday paper. I have gotten the flyer from the Erie or Pittsburgh paper. They always have them in the store as well. I'm not sure if these come out every month, so when I find out I will let you know, but June has a booklet for the entire month of items in CVS that earn you extra care bucks. You do have to earn extra care bucks to take advantage of the freebies, but you can even do that for free. In the June extra value book, if purchase either Listerine smart rinse or the value pack of Oral B tooth brushes, you get what they cost back in extra care bucks. Image and video hosting by TinyPic. Heck, I can even make you money on this deal. First off the limits for these purchases are higher now than what they say. Their limit is four. This is a great way to start your extra care bucks if you don't have any yet because I am going to make you some money. Purchase two packs of toothbrushes (6.99x2=13.98) and two bottles of listerine(3.49x2=6.98). 13.98+6.98=20.96. Sign up on their website for their email offers and you get $4 off your $20 purchase coupon mailed to you and now your total is $16.96 and you now have $20.96 in ecb to play with. And voila, it is as easy as that! Now you have to remember a few things about your extra care bucks. Your extra care bucks should print out one slip for 6.98 (the mouth wash's ecb's) and another slip for 13.98 (the mouthwashes ecb's). Now say you go into CVS the next day and you want to use buy two more mouthwashes and two more toothbrushes because the limit is four. This time you want to use your extra care bucks instead of cash now that you have care bucks. Your total again will be 20.96-4=16.96. The only problem with this is that your total has to be equal or more than your extra care bucks you are paying with. Since you are paying with a 6.98 ecb and 13.98 and that totals 20.96 and your register is 16.96 So what do you do? Buy two packs of the 40ct CVS sheer bandaides that cost 1.99 each, but give you 1.99 back each in ecb. (The limit on these is 3 btw) Your total is still only 20.94 so you are two cents short. So buy the Powerade on sale for $1 and use your 75 cents off coupon that was in the Sunday paper. You owe the cashier 23 cents and you get 24.94 back in ecb's!

Rite Aid

SCR=single check rebate

Not so many deals at Rite Aid, but when you do find a freebie, you usually have to use a coupon and/or their single check rebate. Like I stated earlier, my Rite Aid does not accept internet manufacturer's coupon's. If you do not live in my town, you should check your Rite Aid to see if their policy is different. They do however take coupons that come directly from Rite Aid's website. You should read about the SCR's specifics from Rite Aid's website, but I am going to explain as best I understand. If I am wrong please correct me. Every month Rite Aid has rebate offers that are similar to a mail in rebate. You save your receipt and can redeem them online. It is called single check rebate because you can only put one single order in per month. You can have multiple receipts, but you can only receive one check for the total of all the rebates you have. So if you have four receipts for the month of may and go to get redeem your rebates and forget about one of your receipts and request your check you are out of luck. That is my understanding, but I would of course always call customer service if something like that happened.

Giant Eagle
Ok before I say anything about Giant Eagle's deals inside the store I must say take advantage of the fuelperks! I have a friend who buys everything she can in gift cards in the store for fuelperks. She eats at Applebee's, she buys a gift card from Giant Eagle first. She buys something from Home Depot, she gets a gift card first. Think she is crazy? She hasn't had to pay for gas in her TRUCK for nine months!

Their ads do not run Sun-Sat like most, but Thu-Wed.

Another cool thing about Giant Eagle is they double manufacturer's coupons up to .99 (not $1.00.. don't learn the hard way like I did!) For example, I had a 50 cents off coupon for Ivory soap that I got in the 6/1/08 newspaper and their Ivory soap was .99, so I made a penny!

My Giant Eagle takes internet coupons, but again double check with your store.

Lastly if you register your Giant Eagle card on their website they have deals you can load onto your card! The coupon is automatically deducted from your total when you use your card and you can use a manufacturer's coupon with the deal from their website! I just load all of the deals onto my card because Giant Eagle takes the deals off of their website before they expire. So if a sale comes up or you find a coupon and you go back to Giant Eagle's website, it might not be available any longer.

Walmart
Accepts internet coupons. Here is a link to their corporate policy. Print it out and keep it with your coupon book. If you ever are given any troubles show them their policy. Since Wal-mart is so cheap already most of the deals I have found are from coupons that make their already low priced things free.

Target
Accept manufacturer's coupons along with their own store coupons. If you watch carefully, you can get free things once in awhile!

Kmart
They sometimes have good deals on diapers and kids clothes, but not for free. I have heard they aren't coupon friendly period. For their prices and the price of gas, I haven't wasted my time trying to find out.

Quality Markets

Doubles manufacturer's coupons up to .99. Honestly I don't find too much here very often, but I thought the coupon doubling was worth mentioning.

Dollar General
I have heard they accept manufacturer's coupons. I haven't tried them out yet. Will report back when I know more.

Wegmans
I don't live close to this store so I wont have too much to report here, but I have heard you can get great coupons in the mail from them depending on where you live. I so wish I lived closer to one!

Walgreen's
Coming soon!

Where to start

Before you start collecting your freebies, you must do a little coupon clipping first. When I post my great deals I will try my hardest to tell you where I got my coupons from. If I can't remember, Hot Coupon World has a search database you can use if you have made a few posts on their boards that will tell you where you can find the coupons.

Sunday paper:
The Sunday newspapers is full of manufacturers coupons. I live in a small city. Their newspaper does not have many inserts in their Sunday paper. Unless you already subscribe to a newspaper with good inserts, my suggestion would be to go to your gas station and buy the largest cities Sunday newspaper.

Magazine:
All You is a great magazine that not only has many great recipes in it, but many wonderful coupons. There is supposed to be somewhere on the internet with a good deal if you are interested in a subscription. I am working on finding it because I want to subscribe. I will update with information if I find the link.

On the net:
If you go to Vanessa's saving money blog in my links on deals on the net she has an amazing blog that details everywhere to surf for those wonderful internet coupons. You will have to install a program on your computer because manufacturers put a limit on how many coupons you are allowed to print. Most the time it is two. Sometimes if two or more different sites have the same coupon you can print from each site, but not always. Don't photocopy those type of coupons because they all have different UPC's and it is illegal to do this.

If you sign up on mypoints and make purchases online you build points up points and you can redeem them for gift cards and things.

If you have children I suggest checking into Upromise. Why not earn money towards their college for making your purchases? We were recently told it would cost around $160,000 for our son attend state school when he turns 18. I figure every little bit helps.

Hot coupon world is another great site that helps you find and use your coupons and tells you what stores are having what deals.

Lastly remember these few things:
1. Never get rid of your coupon until it expires. Just because something isn't on sale this week doesn't mean it wont be the next or the week after or the one after that. You get my drift.
2. Just because you have a coupon doesn't mean you have to use it. Even if your coupon is getting ready to expire using it might not necessarily save you money. If you need the product now, make sure competitors aren't cheaper after the coupon (duh). If you don't need the product I suggest waiting. A better coupon might come out next week or a different company might offer a better deal. You just never know.
3. For the most part brand loyalty goes out the window when saving money, especially getting things for free. I have a few things that I have to have brand specific due to sensitive skin and a picky husband, but for the most part we aren't partial to specific brands.

The reason for this blog.

So recently a friend of mine has me addicted (seriously addicted - I might need an intervention! lol) in coupon clipping. There are tons of blogs and websites out there on how and where to get the best deals. I will get ones I like up once I figure things out on here.

Anyways, I have yet to stumble across a website that lists only the freebies. So that is why I am creating this website. I am totally addicted to the freebies and I want pull people into my addiction! Just remember to be patient with me as I am almost as new to this as you might be or be forgiving to me if you are a long term coupon clipper!
