Rite Aid and going out of town again.

Here is the link to the deals you can get at Rite Aid this week. Sorry I didn't do much bargain shopping this week. Sorry these are so late in the week. Always remember you can ask for a rain check if the store does not have your item in stock.

I am not going to be doing any next week either because I will be going to to visit friends for the week. I am so excited. Please pardon my absence and say a prayer that ds and I fair well through the airports by ourselves and he adjusts to the time change just fine. Hopefully I'll have lots of deals to post when I get back.

Sneak preview

I am going out of town tomorrow and I wont be able to scour the net for the Sunday deals. I probably wont have them posted until some time next week. There are a couple of CVS freebies I have seen in the last few days and I will post them and then the rest of the deals the next week.

Link 1 Free photobooks! I have been waiting for this deal and I am soooo excited! If you read through there are sometimes coupons for $3 off the 6x8 photobooks and apparently there were $3/1 coupons in the 5/04 paper and 6/08 paper, but I don't think I have one. I am still hoping to find some coupons so this can be a money maker!

Link 2 Free Sally Hanson nail polish.

I know it isn't much, but that is all I have for now.

I forgot that tell you about two deals this week.

There are fabreeze coupons from a Sunday paper (don't remember which do a search on hot coupon world in the coupon database if you want to know) for b1g1 fabreeze. Fabreeze was 2/10 at CVS and if you buy $10 you get 5ecb. So if you have two b1g1 coupons your total would be $5 after coupons and you would get 5 ecb.

Free sunscreen. Read about it here.

Last chance for Planters nuts deal at Giant Eagle

A very special thanks to the people who had to wait in line behind me tonight. I hope this blog now helps you!

The Giant Eagle catalina deal for the Planter's nuts expires 7/13/04.
If you buy 3 cans of Planter's nuts you get $4 off your next purchase coupon, if you buy 4 you get $5 off and if you buy5 you get $6.50 off your next purchase.

Here are all of the links (thanks Kelly!) to where you can print the Planter's nuts coupons. If you can't print them in Firefox, try internet explorer and vice versa.

In this picture here is how I did what I did.

1st order
-12 Kool-Aids (because you have to b/c you have to buy 3 Nabisco, Oscar Meyer, or another brand I forget to get the $3 off for the nuts and Kool-Aid is the cheapest)
-4 cans of nuts.
Total $2.80 got $5 off my next order.

2nd order
-12 Kool-Aids
-4 cans of nuts, a bottle of Wishbone plentifuls because they are on sale 2/$4 and I had a .60/1 coupon which doubles to 1.20 off making the wishbones .80. There are coupons for this on the internet coupons sites I have on the left hand side of my blog. This stuff makes great marinade for chicken breast.
-Blueberries are on sale b1g1 and I had two $1/1 coupons from peelies from my cereal. My total was 5.60 so I used my $5 off coupon and owed .60 and got another $5 off.

3rd order was the same as the first order and I paid cash since I didn't have time to grab more of my Giant Eagle deals tonight.

So all in all I paid $6.20 and now have two $5 off my next purchase coupons. So essentially I made four dollars and got all of the stuff in the picture for free! lol

Other deals I am going to do at Giant eagle this week before Wednesday are the certain General Mills cereal 5/$10. There are tons of .75/1 Multigrain cheerios cereal coupons which would double to 1.50/1 making a box of cereal .50. Plus I have a two $2 off coupons when I purchase 5 boxes of General Mills cereal that printed off from my last Giant Eagle trip so I can get five boxes of cereal for .50.

Toasters strudels are 5/$10 and Mrs. T Pirogies are 4/$9 and there are coupons all over the place for these. Check the links on my side bar and check the Pillsbury website and the box top website for more coupons.

Ricearoni or however you spell it is 10/$10 and there at .50/1 coupons on the internet coupon sites which will double to 1.00/1 making this free. Remember you don't have to buy ten they ring up a dollar each.

CVS today

Not posted in this pic is some type of Olay Reginerist cream my Mother-in-law asked me to pick up for her. I took it over to her house already. It is part of the buy 20 Olay get 10 ecb. It was 24.99 before the $7/1 coupon.

My total tonight before my coupons was $114 something. I don't have my receipt right handy. After my coupons $62 and after my ecb I owed $34. I got 24 ecb back. I figure I got everything but the diapers and Olay cream for free (15.98 for diapers after coupons and 17.99 for Olay after coupon totals 33.97) and then I made $24 ecb! LOL

Listed:

-8 Pert 2 in 1 conditioners (free after 4 $3/1 coupons and 4 $2/1 coupons)
-1 Physicians Formula Mascara I had a rain check for from last week and it was free because it would have been free after ecb last week.
-2 Sure deodorants that I made $1 because I had a b1g1 coupon and a $1/1 and got 3ecb. I still need to buy four more of these, but they were out.
-1 CVS cleansing towelettes free after $2/1 CVS skincare and 1 ecb back
Bic Soleil razor and refill .98 after 2 $4/1 coupons and 5 ecb back
-2 CVS pantyliners free after .99 ecb for each. My CVS does not even carry the CVS tampons listed in the monthly deal. Let's not talk about how irritated I am.
The Covergirl lash blaster was b1g1 and this is great for me because that is the mascara I prefer. Then in one of my papers there was a coupon for b1 lashblaster and get 1 free eye enhancement. So I got eye shadow for free!
-I had $1/1 the Duracell and it was on sale and I needed them for one of ds's toys.
-I bought the two packs of diapers and had two $1/1 coupons.
-Since I bought $20 of products listed on the front page of the Sunday flyer I got the water for free.

I didn't get to buy the dawn because when I went to get it I couldn't find my coupons. They disappeared on me. So I have to go back and get that. I also have coupons for Fabreeze and I am trying to figure out if it is worth me buying or not. So that was my CVS trip for tonight. I can't believe they had a lot of the stuff. I love shipment days!

Freebies for this week

Okay these are what I have caught just with a quick glance. I need to do some more in depth searching, but I am exhausted.

CVS:

In the July monthly booklet
Buy CVS 22 ct pantyliners for .99 and get .99 ecb. limit 2
Buy CVS 5ct variety pack for 1.49 and get 1.49 ecb back limit 2

Buy CVS cleansing towelettes and 2.99 and get 1 ecb. Limit 5. Link here for $2/1 skincare product at CVS. Makes this free.

Buy 2 sure deodorants and get 3ecb. limit is 3. Each deodorant is 2.79 and there were $1/1 coupons. So 2.79*2=5.58-$2 coupon - 3 ecb - .58. Along with the $1/1 coupon in the paper was a mail in rebate for one so you can get 2.79 - .42 stamp back. The mail in rebate is one per household. So this is a moneymaker. If you don't have the newspaper coupons, you can get coupons online here.

Things I need to see if are free or not:
This is my list of stuff that I see and then I scope it out and post on here if it is free or not. Since I am a little behind I will tell you what I think might be free and you can check it out. I am going to CVS tomorrow so I will post back tomorrow night.

Buy 18 oz softsoap bodywash and get 2 ecb. Limit 5. I know I have a couple of $1/1 from the newspaper. I just don't know how much this is if it makes it free or not.

CVS Weekly deals

Dawn Dish Liquid Botanicals or original scent 2/$2 get 1 ecb back. 7/6/08 P&G insert has $1/1. limit of five. I have 2 $1/1 because I buy two papers. So if I use both coupons I will make $1 on this deal!

Powerade is buy one at 1.49 get 1 free. It doesn't say the limit on the flyer so I don't know if there is one or not. There are $1/1 out there so you can make money on this deal. I used my coupons already though.

This week buy $20 of Olay products get 10ecb back. There are tons of coupons out there and if you use them correctly you can get this for free or make money on the deal.

Still have to check out if the coupons are right but there are $2/1 and $3/1 coupons on the Pert and it is 2/$5 this week. I'm not sure if they are the correct coupons.

Rite Aid:

Ponds 15ct makeup removal travel pack. I'm not sure if they are still 30% off, but it is still a money maker. The limit is two so you can do this twice.

Original price = $3.19
Sale price (30% off) = $2.23
Manufacturer's Coupon = - $1.50
SCR = - $2

I'm not sure and I am too tired to check but I bought Oxy Shave cream with a rebate that would make it free the other day. Not sure if the rebate is still good, but worth checking into. It was either the shave cream or face wash.

Mother of all deals at Giant Eagle!!!! 7/6/08

Ok quite honestly I am exhausted. I stayed up until 2:30a figuring this deal out and then got up at 5:30a to get to Giant Eagle when they opened at 6. I didn't fall asleep last night either because I had deals running through my head and they wouldn't go away! LOL

Basically how I did this deal was I rolled Catalina's which I don't have described in the Giant Eagle section, but will update when I get some sleep. That and I used coupons from Sunday papers coupons.com, boodle, coolsavings, eversave, Pillsbury, and Box top.

What I bought:

3 packsages Kraft American Cheese
4 Planters nuts
20 Koolaid packets
13 Totinos pizza rolls
16 Gogurts
36 Hamburger Helpers
1 Jack Daniels BBQ sauce
4 Barilla pastas
4 Lucky Charms
2 Cheerios
2 Golden Grahams
16 Betty Crocker Brownie Mixes
8 Nature Valley Salty Nut Bars
3 Fruit Roll up mini's
5 Fruit Gushers
1 Fruit by the Foot
1 Fruit Roll up
1 Gusher/Fruit Roll up variety pack

My grand total after all of my coupons: $29.14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Total savings: $248.59

The biggest expense was the Gogurts. If I wouldn't have bought them my total would have been $13.14. Do I rock or what? Ok I am going to go pass out now. Not really. I am way too excited about my deal!
